Solemn, it creeps into your conscience and spreads like wild-fire - burning all the wilting branches and dead leaves you thought were chances

Not so understanding - you jumped, but refrained from landing
Drifting wayward, without bearing
Quite aware but without caring
Burning, seeing red and yearning with feet of lead and blaming everyone, everything; makes for easier masquerading
